Light Purple (Schachenmayr Catania, Lavender (00422), 100% Cotton, 50g)
Brown (Schachenmayr Catania, Marone (00157), 100% Cotton, 50g)
Skills required / abbreviations / info
MG – magic ring (make specified number of single crochet stitches into the loop)
Sc – single crochet
Inc – 2sc increase (crochet 2 single crochet stitches into the same stitch)
Dec – 2tog decrease (crochet 2 stitches together)
CH – chain stitch
F/O – finish off
R – spiral round
Row
( )* – repeat the sequence in brackets to the end of the round
(12) – number of stitches expected at the end of the round
Work in spiral rounds, do not turn/join unless stated otherwise
For best results, use Invisible Decrease instead of the standard one and use needle instead of crochet hook to close the plum.

Stuff with polyester filling. When completed, cut off yarn leaving longer thread. Next, using needle, run this thread along one outer side of the plum; next, insert the needle into the centre of the of 1st round, throughout whole fruit until it comes out through the centre of the last round. Squash the plum between your fingers and secure final shape by pulling the thread a bit, then F/O.
STALK (colour brown)
CH 5
Row 1 starting from the 2nd chain from the hook, make sc 1 in next 4 stitches (4)
When starting & finishing, leave starting / ending thread longer. When completed, using needle attach the stalk to the top (centre of the 1st round) of the plum. Use both threads, one at a time.
